The local Croatian partners asked us for help in dealing with the refugees, especially during the evening time. HBAid workers, along with the volunteers from North Carolina (United States), distributed cold and hot drinks, food, warm clothes and blankets. Thanks to our partners, including Stichting Embrace Dutch Foundation, there were previous groups who brought several hundred food packages and sleeping bags which were given to the refugee families with small children. This week, there was a night when 34 buses arrived at the camp with 50 people on each bus. The camp has heated tents, medical containers and storage places. It is coordinated by the local Croatian Red Cross and the local Ministry of the Interior.
